In Red Orchestra 2 wird sowohl die Ostfront als auch (seit heute) der Pazifikkrieg nachgespielt. Dabei gibt es mehrere Varianten (die bekannten Modi Team-Deathmatch, Caputre the Flag usw. und die weniger bekannten wie Territorium und Kampagne) und mehrere Spielmodi die sich untereinander stark unterscheiden: Realismus (meistens bedeutet ein Treffer den sicheren Tod ... entweder man stirbt direkt oder blutet aus, selten kann man sich noch verbinden und weiter kämpfen), Action (CoD-mässig) und Klassisch (eine Mischung aus beidem). Der Großteil der Server läuft meiner Erfahrung nach auf Realismus, der Rest auf Action.

Geplant ist noch ein weiteres Addon, das wie Rising Storm damals, ursprünglich eine Mod war. Das Addon wird den Titel "In Country: Vietnam" tragen. Erscheinungsdatum ist bisher noch nicht bekannt.

Wenn ihr auf ungewöhnliche Shooter steht die weitab von CoD, Battlefield und Co. sind, aber Anleihen zu den alten BF Teilen haben, dann schlagt unbedingt zu! RO2 bekommt man überall für ein paar € hinterher geworfen. Sobald ihr das habt bekommt ihr dann automatisch 25% auf Rising Storm!

Im Grunde bekommt die Typ 38 gar nichts an Zubehör :(
Aber die Upgrades haben es in sich: Level 25 = 9% schnelleres nachladen ... das ist schon was. Auf Level 50 sind es dann schon 17%. Recoil 13% auf Level 25 ist auch nicht ohne.

Die Typ 38 ist aber echt eine kranke Waffe. Gerade habe ich einen aus 283 Metern weggerotzt. Hab nur seine Silouhette gesehen, bisschen höher gezielt und geschossen ... sehe so wie die Kugel trifft und er langsam zusammen sackt :D

Tripwire Interactive are proud to announce the "Banzai" Community Map Making Competition for Rising Storm. Rising Storm is racking up our highest review scores ever and PC Gamer recently named Rising Storm number 12 in it's list of the 25 best shooters of all time. In light of this success we decided to continue Tripwire Interactive's tradition of supporting our modding community with a mapping competition for Rising Storm. Last year's contest for Red Orchestra 2 produced an amazing selection of new community-made maps, so we are expecting great things from the Rising Storm mapping contest. Of course, to add some incentive, we are looking at cash and prizes totaling in excess of $25,000 - the Grand Prize is a full $10,000 in cash.

The contest starts NOW and will run with just a single judging. There will be an initial checkpoint (Checkpoint Alpha) on 3 Sep 2013, where you can submit your maps for some formal feedback from the judges. The final submission (Checkpoint Beta) is due 5 Nov 2013.

Der letzte 35.000$ Contest hat der Community drei der wohl besten Maps überhaupt gebracht (Winterwald, Stalingrad Kessel und Rakowice) und eine nicht ganz so beliebte Map (Arad) gebracht. Ich denke wir können in den nächsten Monaten großes erwarten. Ich freue mich schon richtig :)

Im Moment gibt es Rising Storm für nur 4,paarzerquetschte bei Steam!
Dazu wurden heute drei neue Community Karten veröffentlich. Also zuschlagen!

We will also be at PAX Prime next week, with 4 stations set up for Rising Storm as well as demoing our up coming Ouya title set in teh Killing Floor Universe.

Da kommen wieder einige Stunden des Zockens auf mich zu!

Gestern kam der 9GB große Content Patch raus.
Grandios.
Alleine das Inselhüpfen ist (für mich als Fan des Campaign Mode ... ich zocke eigentlich nur Campaign Mode) ganz ganz große Klasse und bietet hunderte Stunden neuen Spielspaß. Einzig an der Balance muss noch gearbeitet werden (Iwo Jima als angreifender Japaner ist fast unmöglich zu gewinnen). Unglaublich gut :yes:

Gerade nochmal gespielt. Dieses Spiel schafft es immer wieder mich mit seiner ehrlichen Brutalität zu überraschen.
Totenstille. Ein lautes BAM! direkt neben mir und ein Japaner sackt ganz langsam und laut schreiend zusammen während plötzlich alle aus der Deckung rennen und auf den einzunehmenden Punkt zu laufen. Ein Feuergefecht geht los, wieder Stille. Nur der Japaner schreit noch während er stirbt.

Wenn man so spielt wie der Herr in dem Video (wahrscheinlich Action Modus?) bekommt man solche Szenen wohl nicht zu sehen und hören.

Für mich ein Fehlkauf gewesen, habs nur zwei Mal ne halbe Stunde mit deXXXa gespielt und hat mich nicht umgerissen. Danach nie wieder angefasst
