1) The "edit game settings" crash issue doesn't depend from the number of stadiums. I've got just a couple of stadiums more than the original ones so I guess I didn't exceed the supposed 255 limit. Therefore I installed some stadiums with stadium ID higher than 300 and they worked perfectly until yesterday.
I just had a backup of my DB (always made one before any automatic FIFA update) and restored my previous DB and the issue was solved. Don't ask me why.
2) The stadiums work perfectly if they are installed with a stadium ID different from the supposed original. I guess that those stadiums ID are somehow "locked" if you didn't buy the Euro 2012 DLC content. If you buy the DLC I suppose the program will install all the Euro 2012 stuff, stadium included, and will unlock that IDs, so you can use them then in your FIFA.
So I guess the crash issue has something to do with the update that FIFA made in order to be a potential acceptor for the Euro 2012 contents.
